Four newcomers joined the regular group of Southern Oregon Geeks for their March Meeting at 4 Daughters Pub in Medford; some of the new folks learned about the group via the new RogueTechHub site that invites local techies to Connect The Tech in the Rogue Valley!
While not all of the photos turned out well, the talk was lively and the topics varied; from current coding activities to headline news to new partnership ventures. Two of the new attendees were from Action Financial Services, a local company that is “dedicated to recouping money for the U.S. Department of Education (ED) and Great Lakes Higher Education” and “make[s] every effort to implement best practices, enhance the lives of borrowers, and elevate the practice of debt collection in the community.”
Food and drinks were efficiently and charmingly handled by Beau, a seasoned server at the 4 Daughters pub.
